Day 21. Perth

The alarm sounded at 4am and we were on the road by 4:30. We had a couple of things to do today. The first was a small detour to the historic township of York, where there is a very nice transport museum. However, before we got there, Adrienne captured a magnificent sunrise 20km east of the township of Southern Cross. It was just before 7am.

We spent a restful hour and a half at York wandering around the town after the obligatory visit to the museum and morning tea. We arrived at 10am.

After York there was a 100km run into Perth. The trip today is 600km.

We met up with Damien for lunch and spent the rest of the afternoon with him window shopping in the Hay Street mall.

Tomorrow we leave for Adelaide by air.
